just a heads up to everyone on here, if you intend to have any dealings with xplicitperformance, please read this thread first. there was a 7 page thread on tech where he sold a guy a "yank" converter for $400, and people working at yank told him just from pics that it was most definitely NOT their converter, and now xplicit is refusing to repay their money, even with the buyer offering to eat the cost of shipping back to tx from va. now here is a current FS thread he has open on another site, selling a "4l60E" that looks an awful lot like something else. check posts 9, 10, and 13: http://www.htownracing.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=42161

i am not trying to stir up anything but i have a lot of people on here that i consider friends, and even those of you that i dont or barely know, would hate to see you ripped off by this guy. randy/jason, i understand if you feel the need to remove this thread, but I felt it had to be said for the sake of everyone here

yeah, apparently the converter sold soon after that. the guy that bought it kept it in the box, and just now pulled it out and found out that it was NOT, in fact, a yank, and that was verified by the people at the company. and thats AFTER this douchebag told him, and i quote "if you can find proof that it is not a yank converter i will send you your money back" and then proceeded to crawfish out on that deal as well. i also have heard quite a few things about him personally, but will not go into that here, this is about his business dealings, but i will say that the kind of things i have heard leave me with absolutely no respect for him as a human being, and it was coming from people i have been friends with a VERY long time.

Only reason i didnt cause i found it fishy when i asked him how much for just the trans and he said $800 and then i asked him about the converter and he said said i still $400 firm on it. I asked him what happen to $825 for both and he said no way. He said something about it coming out of his cousins B-body and he got it but ended up not needing it or need the money to pick up another car. I was on my way home from Zanes house or on my way to his house cause i told him about iy, i was just going to wait for him to call me back since he said he needed the money to pay the guy the rest of the money to get his new car. But he never called back

thats what i was going for mainly randy, i know quite a few of the members on here weren't around for all the XP drama, and also post, buy, and sell from tech on a regular basis
